AV System Integration

Choosing the right equipment is only part of the job.

A display can work perfectly.

A media server can work perfectly.

A processor, camera and playback device can all work perfectly on their own.

And the complete installation can still fail when those systems are connected together.

AV system integration is where the individual technologies become one working environment.

Signal Flow, Routing and Playback

Many AV problems are not caused by the display.

They happen somewhere between the source and the final screen.

A well-planned signal workflow defines:

where the signal originates,
how it is processed,
where it is routed,
what happens if one component fails,
and how an operator can identify the problem quickly.

For live and permanent systems alike, simple and understandable signal architecture usually creates a more reliable installation.

AV Systems for Live Production and Broadcast

Systems used during live events and broadcast productions have different requirements from installations that only need to operate under controlled conditions.

There is no time to redesign a signal path during a show.

That is why our experience in live production influences the way we approach audiovisual system design.
