I don’t think so.

Humans Are Experts at Detecting Humans
We spend our entire lives reading people.
Facial expressions.
Eye contact.
Body language.
Posture.
Micro-expressions.
Without realizing it, our brains analyze thousands of these signals every day.
We immediately notice when something feels wrong.

Why We Use Motion Capture
At CG Visuals, almost all of our character animation work is built around motion capture and facial performance capture.
Not because it is fashionable.
Not because it is faster.
But because it creates something that is incredibly difficult to fake.
Believability.
Even when a character is standing still, it should never feel frozen.
Real people are never completely still.
They breathe.
